Fernando De Pablo Martin
Mr. De Pablo-Martín was born on 02 November 1958 in Segovia. Telecommunication Engineer, he joined the Tax Administration in 1993, after having worked for private firms for a decade. He has completed several masters in information technologies and public governance. Within the organization, he has held the positions of Deputy Director-General for software developments in the IT Department and Head of the General Resources Unit at the Central Office for Large Taxpayers. Between 2009 and 2011, he was appointed as General-Director for the promotion of e-government. In this position he was responsible for taking-up the Spanish national e-government strategies and policies and the national e-government IT infrastructures. Nowadays he is senior technical advisor of Planning Department at the Spanish Tax Agency Headquarters. Since June 2013, he collaborates as ICT expert at the Office to for the Implementation of the Public Administration Reform in the Ministry of the Presidency, where he coordinates reform measures with a strong ICT support. He is involved in several e-government working groups in the UE and the OECD.
